THE ELYTRA® PROCESS
The design of the factory, the machine layout, types of machine and flexible, highly skilled employees are required to guarantee the very high levels of pack hygiene demanded by you and your customers.
Employee access to the production area is controlled, all employees must enter the unit through an ”air lock”. Wearing protective clothing, such as: hair nets, gloves and safety shoes as well as washing and disinfection of hands are compulsory.
The Good Manufacturing Practices applied in the food and pharmaceutical industries are executed across the whole production process : strict hygiene rules enable us to control the health and safety of our packaging.
Complying with the HACCP standard (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), the elytra® process produces “clean” corrugated packaging in a controlled atmospheric environment : ‘haute hygiene’ and ‘elytra® contact’ (hygienic and direct food contact packaging).
Every care is taken to avoid external contamination and to reduce dust and waste at source, which enables the factory to reach a dust level of type class 100 000 or ISO 8.
Measuring the number of dust particles per m3 on our packaging on site, remains the best proof of the elytra® process’ functionality.
We can assist and advise your developments up stream, such as new plant design, new organisation of your packing unit, so that you can integrate our packaging in the packing processes in your plant, your customers plant and your suppliers plant. In essence, having a global approach to hygienic packaging throughout the supply chain.
